Our passionate and extensively experienced Chair of Governors has led schools in a range of settings. From being Headteacher of Brambles Farm Primary for five years and Headteacher of St George’s CE Primary School for twenty-one years, within that time achieving Beacon Status for Outstanding Leadership. Furthermore, Mrs Rigby took on the challenge of two failing schools and supporting them on their journey back to success for two years. Additionally, Mrs Rigby was responsible for Headteacher and Teacher appraisal for Salford and also for performance management training for Headteachers and teachers. Mrs Rigby’s wide-ranging experiences have taken her to the USA to develop appraisal and teacher assessment alongside carrying out a role as a School Improvement Advisor. There are a range of other achievements and accolades that highlight Mrs Rigby’s wonderful career: we are very lucky to have Mrs Rigby at Marsh Green Primary School.
