Our staff and SEND Team work with wider professionals including Educational Psychologists, Speech and Language Therapists, Physiotherapists, Targeted Educational Support Workers, The Early Learning Child Care Team and many more.
Our work with wider professionals provides our staff with access to recent research and evidence based strategies of support. Staff work closely together though peer support and coaching each other to enable the sharing of expertise.
Through our termly SEND Clinics, staff and leadership work together to assess, plan future support and review children’s progress. This also enables early identification and support for children who experience barriers to learning.

Within SEND Clinics, staff feedback on the effectiveness and impact of specific strategies and interventions. This forms a centralised knowledge base of effective strategies known as The Marsh Green OAIP (Ordinarily Available Inclusive Practice). This outlines a Graduated Approach to teaching and learning in line with the expectations of The SEND Code of Practice.
